Tyler Borsa
Therapist, MA, LMFT
As a Marriage and Family Therapist, I have a passion for serving individuals, couples, and families. I primarily use Restoration Therapy, which focuses heavily on healing from generational wounds. Whether your hurt comes from your current or past relationships, trauma, or unknown origins, I would love to come alongside you to figure out the root cause and help you to begin living a more fulfilling life. I assist clients of all ages in working through a range of issues including but not limited to: depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship problems, child and adolescent behavior, guilt/shame, low self-esteem, and anger.
I incorporate my Christian faith into my counseling approach for those who desire. I also have training in Functional Family Therapy (FFT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI) to draw from and offer tailored services based on client(s) needs.
Typically, in the majority of circumstances, I recommend clients younger than 12 be seen in the context of family therapy. I often incorporate at least some family therapy for all children and teenagers.
