Kevin E. Ness
Clinical Social Work/Therapist, MSW, LCSW
I have 25+ years of experience working with individuals, families and couples from 12 years old on up through the lifespan. I partner with them and guide them on their journey to overcome significant difficulties, trauma and abuse from the past, including sexual, physical abuse, emotional abuse, and neglect. I firmly believe that identity (who you are) and behavior (what you do) are two distinct things. Your behavior does not determine your identity. I help my clients to examine core beliefs that are contributing to their current difficulties, to help them decide which ones are true and helpful, and which ones are not, in order to bring about true and lasting change.

I am a certified EMDR therapist and trained in IFS-informed EMDR, TF-CBT and Motivational Interviewing. I specialize in helping people work through PTSD, Complex Trauma, Addictions Issues, Sexual abuse and perpetration, Anxiety, Depression, ADHD and relational difficulties, among others.

For those who so desire, I specialize in integration of Christian faith into sessions, in a manner that is comfortable for clients at any stage in their faith walk. I believe that as long as you have breath and a pulse, then healing, redemption, forgiveness, growth, maturity, hope and change are absolutely real possibilities for those open to them.
