Depressed? Anxious? PTSD? Marital conflict? Unwanted emotions and the painful past seem to continually create difficulty? These are a few of the reasons individuals and couples come to see me. I help them gain understanding of the underlying factors that drive their present thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Bring about healing and transformation of the underlying beliefs, fears, and dysfunctional behavior patterns is the goal. Just understanding and talking about it is not enough. By using advanced training in working with with trauma and relational difficulty I collaborate with clients to help create lasting change.

In addition to Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) that most clinicians offer, I have advanced training in EMDR, Ego State Therapy, Inner Healing Prayer, and Emotion Focused Couples Therapy. These trainings are used as tools to help transform the emotional pain, rejection, and conflict that undergird most mental health problems.

Solid grounding in Christian theology and doctorate level training in clinical psychology give me a unique perspective on the human soul and relationships. Experiencing grace and compassion are primary factors in the healing process.
